  • Successful 2016 New Jersey Chapter Annual Meeting held November 9 – 11, 2016 at Harrah's Resort.

  • Donated $5,000 to OPERF at the 2014 Academy Annual Meeting.

  • Awarded the 2013 2nd Annual Bob Frank Scholarship to Jennifer Motylinski.

  • Held 2013 Academy New Jersey Chapter Annual Meeting on November 9 – 11, at The Bally's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

  • Awarded the 2012 1st Annual Bob Frank Scholarship to Juan Cave II.

Chapter Goals and Objectives

  • Promote professionalism and advance the standard of patient care through education, literature, research, and collaboration.

  • Provide forum for professional interaction and sharing of knowledge and expertise.

  • Promote professionalism.

Chapter History

The New Jersey Chapter was formed in 1998. We have a very strong and active membership, with good attendance at seminars.


Committee Work/Newsletters

The New Jersey Chapter puts out a newsletter twice yearly. The Education Committee meets four to six times each year.

Member Involvement

If you are currently a member and would like to become more involved, we recommend:

  • Calling chapter officers for committee positions.

  • Begin by volunteering—even a minimal amount of time helps.
