Welcome to the NCOPE Residency Program Development Courses. These online learning resources are designed to systematically guide you through the steps required for qualification as a residency program and to help you develop the most effective residency experience for new graduates.
This comprehensive program is organized into three separate courses:
Each course contains a series of individual modules that provide specific information to help you prepare to become an accredited program, develop an effective clinical education program, and assess resident abilities and your program's effectiveness. Each course must be completed in its entirety to earn a Completion Certificate.
You may complete the program at your own pace. Please note there is no sound accompanying Course Two: Development of a Residency Program. Quizzes are embedded throughout the courses to verify your understanding and facilitate earning ABC credits. We hope you find this online resource helpful in implementing and managing your residency program.
Development of this course was made possible by the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists through a grant (Award Number H235K080004) from the U.S. Department of Education. The contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
